It is a set of insteruction or codes which is used in pc to accompolish a particular set of stuff.to tart or restart a system it need assistance that is where software cames into picture .basically it include data of computer,labraries,utility.
there are various types of software
- system software- it manages the entire system of computer such as memory,apps,driver device.it incorporates controlling and managing computers memory and inbuilt memory.it can be best explained by operating system.when you restart your system it need some time .it passes thorough every phase where it needs.our operating system is manged by system software .both have similar meaning meaning.
- application software this section contains manages of application rjunning in our desktop.we various software for different apps.let us take an example to burn a cd we use NEO software ,for video streaming we use window media player.
- Device driver. it is a software or coding software tools that is specially designed for managing hardware or peripheral devices.
now i came to main topic what is the exact difference between between driver and software used in our system .
it is a special kind of programmer software which is mainly concerned toward the hardware device which just give the information about connectivity that some particular device has been connected through computer.every hardware device or peripheral the is complexly different set of driver programmed.
for ex if you set a connection between modem cable and computer you need driver software.if you cannot use driver software means without installing the driver software its impossible to connect with them.to using the hardware device thorough your system computer you need first to install driver software then after installing it you can easily go through your hardware devices.
same case with the printer device.when you use printer through your computer you need to first installation of printer driver then in that case you can easily access your hardware device
